[1Ch 16:8, Psa 105:1] "Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people."

The messages delivered by Spiritual Road, through songs, personal testimonies and recitations, are designed to help people find and get closer to a Loving God. We have found that the closer you get to Him, the better you become, and the better life is. When you are living in close harmony with God and nature, a mere thought can become answered prayer, a miracle from God.

"Love One Another" [John 13:34-35] "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. [35] By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." A new commandment? Yes! Love, not fear, is the way of Jesus, and the message of the New Testament. WWJD? Love, Love, Love! The mission of our local church is to "Love our community into a Living Faith with Jesus Christ". Spiritual Road's recommendation: Hug someone, when appropriate, in the Spirit of His Perfect Love. Let them know they are loved by Jesus and by you, His disciple. [John 13:34-35, Mar 12:29-31]

"Prayer Works" if you only believe. Jesus is always "Just A Prayer Away". [Mat 21:22, Job 22:38, John 15:7]

"Being Happy" is a matter of decision, not pursuit. It's a choice we make for ourselves. Will Rogers may have said it best, "Most folks are about as happy as they decide to be!" Want to find JOY? [Psa 5:11, Psa 27:6, Psa 126:5, Zep 3:17, Mat 13:44, Jhn 15:11, Jhn 16:20, Rom 15:32, Gal 5:22]

"Avoiding Worry & Fear" is a matter of trusting in a loving God. He is always there to "Help Me Make It Through My Life" and to see that "Everything's Alright!" [Isa 41:13, Joe 2:21, Luk 2:10, Psa 23:4, Psa 56:4]

"Pushing Emotional Buttons" is something people do to attempt control over our actions. Don't let your emotions prod you into action without a second thought. Don't assume the stories you hear are true. Stop! Think! Check it out! Remember Chicken Little? What would his story have been had he, or Henny Penny, or Turkey Lurkey, checked things out? Are you bearing false witness by spreading that story you just heard? [Exo 20:16, Mat 7:1, 2Th 2:16-17, Pro 8:11]

"When I Met Stan" is a moving recitation written and related by the Country Gospel Music Association's three-time Eastern USA "Reciter of the Year", and "2005 International Reciter of the Year", Dave Butcher. It demonstrates that drugs can kill, even at a young age, and involves the resulting grief of a spouse, witnessing by people on a bus, gratitude, and faith.

Dave's testimony recitation can be viewed by clicking here. It is a 'testimony in a nutshell'.

"Helping Others" is the best way to help yourself. When you help another in the Spirit of His Perfect Love, you help yourself most. In the Bible it is called 'charity'. How may we help you? [John 15:12, 1Cr 13:1-14]
