Spiritual Road develops programs for a variety of venues including churches, fairs, festivals, nursing homes, senior centers, theatres, and other faith events. What can you expect at a Spiritual Road concert? Primarily, concerts include testimony and recitations by Dave Butcher interpersed with songs by Carolyn Richards at appropriate moments, a unique approach, according to many of the comments we have received.

Programs usually include one or more messages in some form or another. We have a testimony concert that is usually done on our first visit to a church. It includes Dave's testimonies regarding lying, cheating, gambling, and drinking, as well as his discoveries after a spiritual experience. Our second visit might include our "Growing in the Kingdom" program. All programs are done for His Honor and Glory.

Every venue has it's own requirements and we adapt to a variety of factors, including time. Churches may want anything from one song up to ninety minutes of evangelistic music, testimony, and recitations. A fair or festival will usually want an hour, or two one hour sets, of primarily musical entertainment. At a theatre, dinner show, or corporate event, we may need to stretch out to two or more hours.

Our music can vary as well. In a cowboy church, senior center, or secular venue, we may include some country music. We often perform our Tribute To Patsy Cline and then lead into our Christian songs and messages. Some churches even request that format, particularly for fellowship events.

Each venue may or may not have it's own sound system. We carry our own small professional system and use changeable frequency UHF wireless mics suitable for any region. Dave has installed everything but the speakers into a transportable podium on wheels that is suitable for nearly any venue. In larger arenas or stadiums, sound rental may be required. We can plug right in to most professional systems.
