What would you do with your old iDevice when you switch to a new one? Resell it or give it to your friend? No matter which way you choose, you should erase all the files on your old iOS device before you give it away. Otherwise, your personal information might be leaked out. Here, a simple deletion is not suggested since the deleted data can be restored by some recovery tools easily. Instead, using a powerful eraser tool to permanently and completely wipe off the data is recommended. In this case, MobiKin Eraser for iOS is what you need.
Attention: The data erased by this program will be unrecoverable, so please back up the important files on your device before you start the erasure.

How to Permanently Erase the Files on iOS Device?

1) If the iTunes is launched on your computer, you will be prompted to close it for the reason that the data will be overwritten due to synchronization. So when you see an interface as below, please tap on "Close iTunes" to avoid data overwriting.

2) If the program detects that the "Find My iPhone" service is opened on your device, you will get the following interface. Please turn off the service on your iOS device by clicking "Settings" > "(your name)" > "iCloud" or "Settings" > "iCloud" and then tap on "Continue" to go on.

After that, you can tap on "Medium", which would bring up the "Select Security Level" window.

Step 4. Erase All Contents and Settings on iDevice
On the "Erase All Data" interface, you can type in "delete" in the input box and tap on "Erase" button.

Then a window will pop up to ask if you are sure to perform the erasure. Just click "OK" to confirm your option.

Now the program will begin scanning and erasing your iDevice. Please do not plug out your device during the erasing process.

Step 5. Reboot the Device & Overwrite the Data
When the erasure ends, the program will reboot your device. (If you fail to restart the device, please go to the page: How to Do If iDevice Fails to Restart.)

Here, if you have selected low security level, you can set up the device after the restart. But if you have chosen medium security level before, the tool will go on to overwrite the data on your iOS device. For those who have elected the high security level, the program will overwrite the data two times.

When the erasure or overwriting ends, you will see an interface as below. That means the data on your device is completely and permanently removed and cannot be recovered by any tool.
